U.S-based high school juniors and seniors from underrepresented and historically excluded backgrounds (First generation; low-income; underserved rural communities; Black or African American; Hispanic or Latinx; Indigenous, Native American, or Alaska Native; Pacific Islander; Individuals with disabilities; and additional groups)

Application Process

Applications will open on April 1st and close on May 31st, 2022 at 11:59 pm EST

The application consists of three short answer questions (200-300 words) about your educational goals and interest in research, and one statement of purpose (500 words) describing what drives your interest in PCRi

Application decisions will be made by June 3 and accepted participants will be required to attend a mandatory student orientation in the second week of June.

The overall program will officially start in the middle of June. However, each PCRi course will have its own start date and meeting times.

The Biology cohort will have three hour-long meetings from June 13th through August 11th on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30-8:30 PM EST.

The Math & Physics cohort will have two-hour meetings from June 13th through August 10th on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM EST.

The Social Sciences cohort will have two hour-long meetings on Thursdays and Sundays from July 3rd through August 14th from 6:00-8:00 PM EST.
